A brief on the evening of 15 September. A runway show in Cremona on the 18th. Inside the busiest week in Milan.

The three days between shipping and the venue that no production plan contains, and the obligation that generates penalties four months after the show.

European brands entering China plan it as a translation exercise. The platforms and the calendar are the easy part. The assumption underneath is the expensive one.

The Milan event year, month by month. When the city is booked, when it is empty, and how far ahead each period has to be held.
